An expert in international relations, he has lived in numerous countries, including Ecuador, Finland, Spain, the United States, Morocco and has visited more than one hundred nations for work, coming into contact with different cultures, religions and traditions.

Particularly interested in strategic resources and the dynamics implemented by the major powers for their exploitation, as well as in the policies necessary for their fair redistribution and for the development of populations exposed to less favorable conditions, he believes that water - already precious in many areas of the globe - will increasingly become the central element that in the coming years and will be able to determine the successes and failures in relations between States.

Role in AB AQUA

Roberto Natali is one of the co-founders of AB AQUA and is currently Executive Director of the group since January 2021. His position is central within the organization, where he guides the strategic vision of the think tank and supervises the production of scientific and innovative research in the field of water resources management and sustainability.

In addition to his role as Executive Director, Dr. Natali is actively involved in the development of the AB AQUA network, establishing international collaborations and building links with strategic partners. He is also involved in the management of the organization, being part of the executive team to ensure that AB AQUA continues to be a point of reference in the field of cooperation and research in the hydro-strategic field.
