Silvia Scarafoni earned a degree in Environmental and Sustainability Economics from the University of Siena and a Master’s in Green Economy & Sustainability Management, which equipped her with tools to understand sustainability from an integrated perspective, considering environmental, social, and economic dimensions.

After her studies, she completed a period of Servizio Civile with Legambiente, collaborating with the Scientific Office on the drafting of environmental reports and the Goletta dei Laghi campaign, where she was responsible for disseminating results on the health of Italian lakes and coordinating with volunteers and local stakeholders.

Subsequently, during an internship at the European Parliament with the Greens/EFA group, she focused on legislative monitoring and vote analysis, deepening her knowledge of European institutions and legislative dynamics.

She is currently working as a Junior Policy Analyst & Project Officer at Vision & Value, where she is involved in monitoring national and European calls, coordinating projects with a focus on sustainability and innovation, and supporting the research and communication activities of the Vision Think Tank.
