National Seminar organized by CISCAM: Lessons in Hydro-strategy, an overview

Together with CISCAM – Centro Italiano Studio Cultura Africana e Mediterranea, AB AQUA participated in an online seminar on hydro-strategic issues.

We jointly addressed various topics related to water, starting from two international conferences that covered some crucial issues for our ecosystem: the Palau Conference, focused on the protection of the oceans, and the Abidjan Conference, with a focus on the fight against desertification.

There are many “water challenges” that await us in the near future. Among the major ones, we highlight:

1) Guaranteeing a satisfactory water supply to a growing world population.

2) Managing transboundary basins in an equitable and peaceful manner.

3) Exploiting the increasingly scarce global water resources with an eco-sustainable approach.
